ITINERARY BY DAY
- 08:00 AM, our driver and tour guide will welcome and pick up you at the hotel/accommodation.
- Arrive in the Bat pagoda, the most famous Khmer-style pagoda in Soc Trang. It’s was built in the 16th century with a lovely isolated sanctuary where is home to many bats. A bat is about 1kg in weight and with wings span of 1m to 1,5m.
- Visit the Bowl pagoda, with the stunning architecture from, tiled old porcelain bowls, plates to on the pagoda’s walls, stairs, and many other locations to create extremely impressive motifs during the process of pagoda reconstruction in 1969.
- Study and visit The Khmer at Khleang pagoda, you will take the time to learn about the importance of Khmer Buddhism in the local community.
- Explore the forest & wetland conservation. The tour guide then helps you with boat ticket. Take a lovely walk to the boat station. Enjoy the wonderful boat trip in the nature, see and pose a lot of native birds (seasonal) along the boat trip. Then, get to the 25-meter observation tower to enjoy the fascinating view over the wetland forest and the stunning rice fields. (about one and a half hour in the forest included lunchtime). Have local lunch (included).
